When relevant records that have already been retrieved appear and no new
records are being pulled up, the searcher can conclude that, for the present, the
search is complete. New records are constantly being added to databases so it is
important that during the course of the project, previously run searches are
updated. As the research progresses, more terms may be encountered that
should be included in search strategies, so new search queries will be devised
using these terms.
